1 Focus Church - Mark and Rachel McClure are moving here from Ft. Worth (TX) to start a new church on the SE side of Tucson in a growing area. Close by is the University of Arizona Science and Technology Park home to Tucson's hi-tech district as well as close to the Davis-Monthan Airforce Base.
El Fuente - Vance and Julie Wood moved to Tucson in this summer ('08) from Washington to launch a church planting movement among Spanish speaking people of south Tucson all the way down I-19 to Nogales. They've spent the past 11 years church planting in Mexico, Costa Rica, Columbia, and Venezuela.
Grace Fellowship - Coming soon to Vail will be Grace Fellowship led by Steve Chamblee and Jay Huffstutler. Moving from Alabama this past May ('08) they will be planting a new church in the Rancho Del Lago area soon!!!
Cross Life Church - This is a new church plant coming to north Oro Valley / Catalina / southern Pinal County. Keep checking back for updates and more information.
Epic Church
Epic will be a multi-site launch focusing primarily on two areas to begin with: the Park Place Mall and the University of Arizona led by Jake Rasmussen. They are slated for a grand opening public launch sometime in '08. Click on Epic to download their prospectus.

The Foundry
The Foundry will be a new church developing in the Corona de Tucson / Vail area on the SE side of Tucson. This is a high growth area with next to no churches. This is led by Ashley and Bridgette Evans who moved here from North Carolina. Click on Foundry to download their prospectus.
City Edge Church
Billy and Ami Creech, their family, and a team are starting a new church on the NW side of Tucson. They're coming from Portugal to Tucson to start this (they're originally from Oklahoma). This area is experiencing revitalization, growth, and commercial development is poised to take off as well. Click on City Edge to download their prospectus.

The Pueblo Community
This is what we're calling "Version 3.0" in our attempts to figure out and start an "organic church" (see Neil Cole's book for a description). Currently they meet in a home on the NW side and are looking for more missional-minded believers to join in the initial group in order to start more churches.
Road to Grace Church
This is a new church starting in December (’06) that is designed for bikers. Led by Steve Young, a chaplain at the state prison, Road to Glory Church will focus on the biking community and engage them with the Gospel.
The Element
Jeremiah McDuffie just moved to Tucson in March (’06) join the staff at Central as a Church Starter. He’ll be planting a “church within a church.” He’ll be planting in central Tucson and targeting young families.
Common Ground Church
This new church will be emerging in Rancho Sahuarita, just south of Tucson. Ben Barfield leads this up and coming dynamic church as they seek to help people connect with God in this new community.
EastPointe
This is a new church just getting started. David Houchin, the Lead Pastor and Jake Rasmussen, the Youth Pastor, began this church on the east side of Tucson in November (’05). EastPointe exists to help people discover the joy of living God’s purpose for their lives. Their target will be families.
Second Mile
Originally from Las Cruces, NM, Chad and Angel Haynes moved here November of 2004 with a team from Lincoln, Nebraska. They are in the process of planting an emerging church reaching the younger generations and are located not too far from the CBA office.
The Sanctuary
The Sanctuary was started in the spring of 2004 by Tom and Shannon Carmichael. The Sanctuary is a emerging church that is striving to be a holistic Christian community. They seek to commune with God, connect in community, and create worshipers of Christ. The meet in NW Tucson.
The Crossing
Begun on 2004, The Crossing is a church plant on the NW side that is targeting college age and young adults. Very much a coffeehouse feel to it, it is led by Dave Johnson. Their goal as a church is to encounter God, experience community, and engage culture.
